It is always good to do our best. Further, it is good when we are flexible about things that are challenging in life. Sometimes we work hard and sometimes we do things that make us happy. However, one thing I believe is that you are what you do, not what you say you are going to do.
When I decided to go back to school last semester, it was very stressful. After ten years without going to school it was very hard to return to school. It took determination and commitment to do what I said I was going to do. During the ten years away from school, I was working hard as a parent, cook, driver, maid, teacher, and an accountant; that is to say I was a housewife. Clearly, I was capable of multitasking as any good student must be skilled at doing. At the same time I was putting out those negative thoughts and listening to them. However, what prevailed is my belief that you are what you do, not what you say you are going to do which is why I am persisting, even with challenges, in continuing my education.
